November 15, 2003 MARS LP1 - Minds 1-14 Song Info: Death –found as the ending music of Greedy Ghost Fun Sucks Parts 2 & 1 –part 1 was made first & part 2 is a remix of part 1 cORNERED Placement –remix of cP from Piemerican Disc Mind 7 –first song recorded for the album (see this blog entry for more info) Ancient Sea –contains sample of a remixed hof from Piemerican Disc streg\Brain Shatteringly Intelligent –streg is a failed string loop meant to be in the Tripple Seven song As Victory Rose. Brain Shatteringly Intelligent is from a poem of the same name. Wáké Úp –instrumental attempt at a song much worked on by Emperor MAR & played once in an alternate form at a band practice with New pik mix ix –synthesized vocal sample of the word "Piemerica" is used which is also used in Piemerican Games & the old Piemerica Promo Video, which inspired this. November 15, 2003 MARS EP1 - dew - Companion to Minds 1-14 Song Info: not Today -the first song made for dew specifically, it was too long to fit onto Minds 1-14 safecore -originally a song file I kept invidual beat samples I made in, then I mixed the song W1 -the first midi song Emperor MAR ever wrote, the 2nd was 1 from Piemerican Disc in 2002. W1 was mixed & reversed from its original form to merit its release Melt -siren sampled used in this song is provied with Juke Mp3 although the program was not used in the making of dew vast -I've forgotten exactally how I made this one. I think other songs are reversed on it & sped up 3x. shoc hoc -a part of the song SHOCKly from Minds 1-14 was used in this song as well as the tune of Ancient Sea slightly altered dew -title track that I forced to be the closer although it's shorter than Melt |

Information: I originally wanted to call this Ep do or doo but that reminded me of poo so I went with the spelling dew & found some dew covered leaves as cover art. dew was made immediately after all the tracks from Minds 1-14 were recorded except Wáké Úp which although already written wasn't dedicated to digitalness until after dew was fully recorded All songs on dew except Melt were recorded & mixed on November 2, 2003; Melt recorded November 4, 2003 W1 written July 25, 2002; safecore written April 5, 2003 Artwork made November 2, 2003 - Original photo not by Piemerica My feet are soaked in dew. My legs are soaking it in. Now my legs won't bend. It's like I'm moving without motion. When I live this evening, I won't lose the feeling of missing you. ~dew |

All songs Written & recorded December 1, 2003 in a period of about 14 hours almost all songs titled after their recording The order the album was recorded in by track: 1, 8, 15, 2, 22, 25, 21, 6, 19, 9, 3, 13, 14, 10, 24, 23, 11, 7, (Showdown B-side), 12, 4, 18, 26, 17, 16, 5, 20 Track 26 Left Out was originally the song edited from the album & was titled as such. But Showdown was taken off instead The first CD released by Piemerica to not include CD+ bonus material Cover Photo by Emperor MAR May 18, 2003 - Artwork Made December 1, 2003 MARch was re-released with original tracks from MARch & Mega Kettle Maze as MARch (Revised & Revisited) on March 1, 2005. Additional Information: Cingle Sircle was edited of its 5 seconds of silence at the beginning. The computer animated music video made by Emperor MAR was the reason for releasing this single & the song left over from MARch. This was also the reason for the edit.
