Review:
Camelopardalis is.. a simple but anticipation bringing opener.
Heterochromia makes me imagine I'm chatting in a shop in a top down RPG game.
I like the smoothness and softness at the beginning of Home Is Where You Are.
Melatonin starts off seeming like its going to turn rap song then for some reason makes me remember the 3D Donkey Kong Country TV show which I haven't thought about since it was on. Excellent track.
The World Through Windows is like sitting in the grass polishing rocks with someone watching you then calling you home.
The more distortion based sound of Kaiser Dragoon (Final Boss Theme) calls to me more like a run-and-gun experience in the game Zillion for the Master System.
Bajak Time Machine starts with a heavy hitting feeling then makes one wonder "Am I really where I thought I was?" The mystery is then slowly hinted at.
In Frozen/Lost you can hear your mind thinking of warmer times as the world passes you by as one lost and out of season.
The Road to Oklahoma takes place in the future where a drummer and his metallic bird pet make beautiful music together whilst sunlight pours through an open window nearby.
Ghost Toys has a different feel. From what I heard at the beginning I was hoping for a fuller jamming beat to occur. The mutations in the background and stutter of the fore is certainly welcome and almost brings this ghost back to life.
An End's An End... makes you think of two different people. Just as you think one has left they come together and meet. I get a beach setting with water and light like that of the album cover. The ending causes a feeling and then ends as all ends do.
With only a few weak moments in my opinion, the length and mildly patience trying bass beat of Home Is Where You Are & the strange mood of Ghost Toys, upon first listen Hello Sunshine is a unique experience that takes you places you forgot existed. Moving and peaceful yet enough rhythm and melody to keep one's attention. Another Camelopardalis triumph.
