Five Steps Off The Front Porch

Hear me on the door
Walking on the walls
Peeling off the ceiling
Jumping up to the floor & landing on hands
If I could only take five steps off the front porch I might be able to leave myself behind
And everything that holds me down would be thrown out
Take a spring board & just fly so far away
Not forced but still there at all times
Walking on the walls
Getting around better
Jumping up to the floor & landing on hands
Then to the back of my world clear to the floor
Reverse & times passes by
If I could only take five steps off the front porch I might be able to leave myself behind
And everything that holds me down would be thrown out
Holds me down & keeps me shackled to this wooden ground
Why won't it let me go?
I just can't leave
Why won't it let me go?
I need to be free
And freedom is only five steps off the front porch
Five steps off the front porch will help me a lot
Five steps off the front porch will keep me fresh
Freedom is only five steps off the front porch
