The Mystery is a Wishing Well

I need an answer but I don't know where to find it
And I need a question that is not thoughtward binding
Until I need a rope that is not too high to hang me
I will ride a mile that is just the same thing
-
I've been so cool that I revolt
I've been so hot that I explode
I've been so rude I have no touch
I've been all this still not that much
-
I wait for hours until I'm turning sour
And it is disappointing I've no thoughts of my world anywhere
I point to my head & I think & dream
I want no part in anything
-
I've been so cool that I revolt
I've been so hot that I explode
I've been so rude I have no touch
I've been all this still not that much
-
I've been so dumb that I refrain
I've felt so bad all I know is pain
I've been so crude that I can tell
The mystery is a wishing well
The mystery is a wishing well
